AbsoluteEnergy Ltd completed its summer appearances at A&P shows with a stand at the recent Murchison show.

There was strong participation in all events by the locals who were able to obtain information and ask questions about insulation at the AbsoluteEnergy display.

The Nelson Environment Centre was officially opened at Braemar Place opposite the hospital on 25th February by Nelson MP and Minister for the Environment, Nick Smith.

The Centre aims to educate and inform people on current and future environmental topics and issues.

It intends to hold a number of workshops and has displays from leading environmental organisations including AbsoluteEnergy Ltd which is displaying energy efficiency and sustainability in insulation.
AbsoluteEnergy had a display of insulation at the TDC reception area during the latter part of February.

Ratepayers could find out information about the EECA government grant scheme and also the Tasman District Council Targeted Rates Scheme.

TDC ratepayers can have insulation installed with no up front cost, get up to one third of the cost and pay off the balance over nine years.
